Roman Andrzejewski established AR Notary & Legal Services based on his twenty-five-years of experience working as a paralegal for the Ontario Government and for the private sector. Throughout his career Roman obtained all the necessary skills to be a successful negotiator and litigator. From an early focus on property tax reduction in Mississauga and the GTA, Roman now offers a full range of legal services including representation before the Assessment Review Board, Small Claims Courts, Landlord and Tenant Board, in criminal offences and all other legal matters. The reduction of property taxes is achieved through our proven assessment appeal process. We consistently achieve the largest property tax reduction for our clients at the Assessment Review Board in Mississauga and GTA.
The Small Claims Court resolves civil disputes where the amount claimed doesn't exceed $35,000. Common disputes include unpaid loans/invoices, damage to property, defective workmanship, personal injury, etc.
The Landlord and Tenant Board resolves disputes between landlords and tenants. Common disputes include such cases as non-payment of rent, damage to rental unit, terminating a tenancy agreement, eviction of a tenant.
Summary Offenses are considered to be minor offences in the Criminal Code. The maximum penalty on such offences are $5,000 and/or up to six months in jail. We have helped numerous clients to withdraw the charges by the Crown, resulting in no criminal record.
A notary for administering oaths, validating legal documents, contracts, and copies, and taking affidavits and declarations on legal matters. Our notary public services include English/Polish translation certification.

Roman Andrzejewski is a licensed Mississauga Paralegal, Notary Public, and Professional Engineer. He obtained his engineering degree from the University of Guelph and his designation as a professional engineer (P.Eng) from the Professional Engineers of Ontario. In 2008, Roman obtained his designation as a Paralegal (P1) from the Law Society of Ontario. In 2020, he was appointed as a Notary Public for Ontario by the Attorney General. Roman specializes in property tax reduction in Mississauga and across the entire GTA, Landlord and Tenant Board matters, Small Claims Court matters, criminal defences with Summary Convictions, and he notarizes legal documents. He regularly appears before the Assessment Review Board, Landlord and Tenant Board, Small Claims Court, Human Rights Tribunal, and the Justice of the Peace on Summary Convictions.
Roman has provided strategic advice to individual property owners and corporations on property tax matters and has a solid track record of helping clients reduce property taxes. Prior to establishing his legal firm in 2008, After-Tax Paralegal Services Professional Corporation, Roman worked for thirteen years as an assessor and valuation specialist with Ontario’s Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC).
Roman regularly represents landlords and tenants who have disputes arising from rental or lease agreements. He has represented many clients charged by Ontario Provincial Police before the Justice of the Peace under Summary Convictions, resulting in stay of proceedings and no criminal record for the clients.
